GlobalLogic Ukraine is looking for Incident Manager on the full time basis in our Kyiv office.
Required skills:
• Proven practical experience of using ITSM processes and tools in enterprise IT environment.
• Understanding of main IT management processes such as Incident Management, Problem Management, Changerelease Management
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills,
• Good understanding of web and enterprise infrastructure technology,
• Experience of using ticketing systems (ARS Remedy or similar),
• Knowledge of monitoring systems used in big enterprise environment
Desired skills:
• Web application support experience, knowledge of Java application platforms,
• Understanding of RDBMS, Oracle technologies
• Knowledge of Solaris, Linux would be a great benefit
Job Responsibilities:
• Major production Incident Management including the management of cross functional and cross site support teams ensuring service is restored in a timely manner with minimum impact to the business.
• Act as the single communication point for IT Senior Management for the duration of a Major Production Incident.
• Production of a detailed Management report following a Major Production Incident
• Provide recommendations to Problem Management for follow-up actions.
• Maintain problem records and data quality of Problem records
• Produce management information
• Work with technical resources in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and proactive Problem Management
• Work with management to review the efficiency and effectiveness of Incident & Problem Management activities/processes.
